In this online course, you will learn concrete strategies for how sustainability can be integrated in education, on programme level as well as in individual modules. You will learn about key competences for sustainability; how to design learning activities and assessment for sustainability education; how to make training elements around sustainability relevant for YOUR students; and also gain some inspirational tips on how sustainability has been introduced at various universities.

Embedding sustainability into education is relevant for ALL programmes and disciplines, since this gives meaning and context to why that discipline is studied; it provides a holistic perspective. Every profession needs to relate to environmental and social challenges of our society, both for mitigating their potential negative impact and for creating solutions. However, integrating sustainability elements comes with their own challenges. In this course you will receive concrete tips and teaching activities that you can bring to your class immediately.
